![]() If they're landing in the same area relatively often you might even be able to put up a Camp there on the golf course (or w/e you're doing it) with Turrets to help you shoot down some of the next few you summon.Fallout 76 Nuclear Winter – The Game That Will Keep You Warm This Winter Season! Just load a tape, shoot down the Cargobot, then rinse and repeat if there was no card or you need extras ( highly recommend bringing more than one when doing a Silo, in case you make a mistake on the launch code keypad). The Relay south of WS tends to summon one to somewhere on the golf course, nicely out in the open and relatively predictable. You won't have to chase it, you'll know almost exactly where it's going so you can lay in wait instead □ If it does the normal landing process it seems to turn the crate into a normal right-side-up supply drop crate, sans Keycard, but honestly that part might just be my own anecdotal evidence □ Most of the time it'll have a Keycard, and if it doesn't, just go back to the Relay Tower and load another tape. If you kill it, the crate will land upside down and with a lvl 0 lock. Instead of following the one you're directed too by the Enclave and spending caps traveling around to get to it, try throwing a US Government Requisition Holotape in any Relay Tower Terminal and shoot down whatever Cargobot shows up for the Supply Drop before it begins the landing process. I whined like a little kid for this entire post, c'mon guys, why're you all being so nice?Įdit 2: I overreacted (what, really? Who'd of guessed) and am not actually quitting. The positivity in the comments is weirding me out. Thank God for Wild Appalachia or I'd give up on the whole game.Įdit: Feel free to insult me. I'm gonna go do Fasnacht for the umpteenth time. I'm never going to finish the main story because of this crummy, badly designed quest. I apparently just suck at this, despite beating the hardest modes on the other games. But I've struggled every step of the bloody way. Everyone says this game is sooooooo easy. ![]() Shooting it down is the ONLY way to get the keycard, so if you have average aim and aren't built for VATS crits, then you're kinda screwed. I use focussed fire to deal with its thrusters but it doesn't work because my level 50 weapons are apparently made of cardboard and elastic bands. A slow, tedious process, as it's barely within VATS range ever and moves like a squirrel on acid. I run away from it and finally start plinking away the OBSCENE amount of health this Cargobot. Joy, I get to waste my efforts on fifty of these annoying pricks who have nothing to do with the quest, what fun! Then a Sentry-Bot with two miniguns and cluster bomb launchers comes strolling out of the god damned WOODS (what was it doing there?!) and opens fire. Wow, Super Mutants with their crappy bullet sponge mechanics and crappy animation and annoying voices. I chased it around the map, wasting caps to fast travel. I've been tasked with shooting down a Cargobot to get the key card. Minor spoilers for the I Am Become Death quest. ![]()
